1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of cmcopys.com and all services offered by CM Copys, including printing, binding, doorstep delivery, and the student notes marketplace. By placing an order, registering an account, or using our website, you agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. About CM Copys

CM Copys is a Bangalore-based printing and document delivery service operating from a centralised darkstore that fulfils orders across Bangalore. We also operate an online marketplace where student sellers can upload and sell study notes to other students.

3. Services Offered

CM Copys provides the following services:

• Print & Delivery – B&W and colour document printing, spiral binding, thesis binding, and doorstep delivery across Bangalore
• Passport & ID Photos – printed on photo paper and delivered to your door
• Notes Marketplace – students can buy verified study notes (PDF or printed) and sell their own notes PDFs to earn money

4. Placing an Order

4.1 How to Order

4.2 Order Confirmation

An order is confirmed once you receive confirmation from our team via WhatsApp or on-site. Prices shown in the cost calculator are estimates; final pricing is confirmed at order acceptance.

4.3 Accepted File Formats

We accept PDFs and common image formats (JPG, PNG). You are responsible for ensuring your file is complete, correctly formatted, and print-ready before submitting. CM Copys is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete files submitted by the customer.

4.4 Print Quality

We use laser printing equipment to produce quality prints. Colour output may vary slightly depending on the source file. We do not guarantee colour-matching to screen displays.

5. Pricing & Payment

5.1 Pricing

These are the standard printing rates currently displayed by CM Copys. Bulk pricing or special quotations may be offered separately. Prices may be updated from time to time, and the price displayed at checkout/order confirmation will apply to that order.

5.2 Payment Method & Order Confirmation

An order is treated as confirmed only after the required 50% advance payment has been received.

After the 50% advance payment, CM Copys will send the customer a hard-copy video of the documents for confirmation. The remaining balance is payable after confirmation, as communicated by CM Copys.

Payment instructions and applicable payment details will be provided to the customer during the order process. Customers should retain their payment confirmation or transaction reference.

5.3 Price Disputes

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us on WhatsApp within 24 hours of your order with your order details. We will review and resolve the matter promptly.

6. Delivery

6.1 Delivery Areas

We deliver to locations across Bangalore including BTM Layout, Marathahalli, Electronic City, JP Nagar, Bikasipura, Whitefield, HSR Layout, Koramangala, Indiranagar, Jayanagar, Hebbal, Yelahanka, and surrounding areas. WhatsApp us to confirm availability in your specific area.

6.2 Delivery Times

We aim to deliver as quickly as possible. Delivery times depend on your location, order size, and current demand. Same-day delivery is available for most orders placed during service hours. Delivery time estimates are not guaranteed.

6.3 Delivery Accuracy

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. CM Copys is not liable for failed or delayed delivery due to incorrect address information provided by the customer.

6.4 Express Delivery

Express Delivery is the same-day delivery option. The delivery charge is calculated according to the delivery location and road distance. The final delivery charge is shown to the customer before checkout.

• Orders placed before 7:00 PM are eligible for same-day delivery.
• Delivery time depends on the destination and operational conditions.
• Express delivery is available up to 40 km from CM Copys, subject to service availability.

6.5 Scheduled Delivery

Scheduled Delivery is a lower-priority delivery option for eligible orders. The charge starts from ₹30 and is calculated using road distance.

• Scheduled Delivery is available up to 40 km from CM Copys, subject to service availability.
• Scheduled Delivery is intended for delivery within the stated delivery window shown during the order process.
• The actual delivery date may vary due to route planning, order volume, weather, traffic and other operational conditions.
• The applicable delivery charge and delivery option are shown before the customer places the order.

Scheduled Delivery is available for eligible orders of ₹250 or more, as currently displayed on the print calculator. Scheduled Delivery is targeted for delivery within 2 days, subject to operational conditions. Delivery timing may vary depending on location, order volume and operational conditions.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

7.1 Cancellations

• Orders may be cancelled before printing has begun at no charge. Contact us immediately on WhatsApp to cancel.
• Once printing has started, cancellation is not possible and the full order amount is payable.

7.2 Refunds

We offer a refund or reprint in the following circumstances:

• Printing error on our part – if the print output does not match the file you submitted due to a fault on our end, we will reprint at no charge or issue a refund.
• Damaged delivery – if your order arrives damaged due to handling by our delivery team, we will reprint or refund.

Refunds are not provided for:

• Errors in the file submitted by the customer (wrong content, incorrect layout, missing pages, etc.)
• Change of mind after printing has begun
• Colour variation between screen and print output

7.3 Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

8. Document Responsibility

8.1 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of documents you submit for printing. By submitting a document, you confirm that:

• You have the right to print and reproduce the content
• The content does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or intellectual property right
• The content does not violate any applicable Indian law

8.2 Prohibited Content

We will not print content that is:

• Obscene, defamatory, or hateful
• In violation of copyright without authorisation
• Fraudulent, forged, or intended to deceive
• Prohibited under any applicable Indian law

CM Copys reserves the right to refuse any order at our discretion.

8.3 Document Privacy & Data Deletion

8.4 Delivery Partner Information

To arrange delivery, CM Copys may share only the information reasonably necessary to complete the delivery, such as your name, phone number, delivery address, order ID and delivery instructions, with the delivery partner or third-party delivery platform used for that order.

This information is shared for the purpose of fulfilling the delivery and related customer support. CM Copys does not authorise the delivery partner to use the information for unrelated purposes. Handling of information by a third-party delivery platform may also be subject to that platform's own privacy terms.

9. Notes Marketplace – Buyer Terms

9.1 What You Are Buying

When you purchase notes on the CM Copys shop, you are purchasing:

• A PDF download for digital study use, and/or
• A printed and delivered copy of the notes

9.2 Licence

Notes purchased are for your personal academic use only. You may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, or share the notes with others in any form.

9.3 Refunds on Notes

Due to the digital nature of notes:

• PDF purchases are non-refundable once downloaded.
• Printed copies are eligible for a reprint if delivered damaged.

If a notes product is materially different from its description, contact us within 48 hours for a resolution.

9.4 Quality Assurance

All notes listed on CM Copys are reviewed by our team before publishing. However, we do not guarantee that notes are 100% accurate, complete, or aligned with every school or college syllabus variation. Notes are provided as supplementary study material.

10. Notes Marketplace – Seller Terms

10.1 Eligibility

Any student or educator may register as a seller on CM Copys. Registration is free.

10.2 Your Uploaded Content

By uploading notes to CM Copys, you confirm that:

• You are the original author of the notes
• You have the right to sell and license the content
• The content does not infringe any third-party copyright (e.g. copying directly from published textbooks)
• The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge

CM Copys reserves the right to reject, remove, or delist any uploaded notes at our discretion.

10.3 Earnings & Payouts

• You earn a commission each time a student purchases your notes
• Payout details and commission rates are communicated at the time of seller registration or via your seller dashboard
• Payouts are processed via UPI to the account registered in your seller profile
• CM Copys reserves the right to adjust commission rates with reasonable notice

10.4 Seller Account Termination

CM Copys reserves the right to suspend or terminate a seller account for breach of these Terms, upload of infringing or misleading content, or fraudulent activity. Pending payouts for legitimate sales will still be processed.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on cmcopys.com – including the CM Copys name, logo, website design, copy, and original materials – is the property of CM Copys. You may not reproduce, copy, or use any of our content without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• CM Copys is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services
• Our total liability for any claim related to a specific order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order
• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control (power outages, natural disasters, network failures, etc.)

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
