- Payment information — UPI IDs, GPay/PhonePe transaction references. We do not store full payment credentials; all payments are processed through third-party payment systems.
- Documents you upload for printing — PDFs, images, or other files sent via our website or WhatsApp, used solely for printing and delivery.
- Notes PDFs uploaded by sellers — study material uploaded by registered student sellers for listing on the CM Copys shop.
- Account registration data — username, password, and seller profile information for registered accounts at cmcopys.com/signup.php.
- Identity documents — only when identity verification is required (e.g. Aadhaar-linked passport photo orders); only the minimum necessary information is used.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, time spent on site, browser type, device type, and IP address, collected via standard web analytics tools.
- Cookies — small files stored on your browser to remember preferences and improve your experience. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function correctly.

Document Privacy — Our Core Commitment
We take document privacy extremely seriously. This is our firm policy on every file you upload for printing:
- All uploaded documents are permanently deleted immediately after your order is printed and dispatched. We do not retain, archive, or back them up.
- Files are used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your print order — nothing else.
- No member of our team reads, copies, shares, or reproduces the content of your documents beyond what is necessary to print them.
- This applies to all sensitive documents: Aadhaar cards, academic records, medical documents, legal papers, and business files.

Student Seller Data
If you register as a seller on CM Copys:
- Your name, contact details, and payout information (UPI ID or bank details) are stored securely to process your earnings.
- Notes PDFs you upload are reviewed by our team before listing and are stored for as long as they remain listed on the shop.
- You may request removal of your notes and account data at any time by contacting us.
- We do not share seller personal information with buyers.

While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you not to share sensitive documents beyond what is strictly necessary for your order.

Children's Privacy
Our notes marketplace serves students, including those under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
